Pet Emergency Care
If your pet is currently experiencing a medical emergency during our normal business hours, call us immediately at 864-882-8747.
If your pet is currently experiencing a medical emergency outside of our normal business hours, see below.
Emergency Care
During our regularly scheduled business hours, we have veterinarians and technicians on duty who are trained to handle most emergencies. Our emergency team consists of at least one doctor and several technicians or assistants working together to address the immediate needs of your pet. Emergencies can include anything from ingestion of toxic foods or substances, an animal attack, a pet being hit by a car, labored/difficulty breathing, or pregnancy labor complications. If you ever feel that your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call us immediately.
Urgent Care
We are also available during our regularly scheduled business hours for urgent care when your pet’s condition is non-life threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before a scheduled appointment is available, we will do our best to accommodate you and your pet.
Options may include scheduling a sick-visit appointment, if available, or a drop-off time.
Drop-off patients are given a set arrival time and will be worked into our schedule so the veterinarian can examine and treat your pet in between regularly scheduled appointments. The doctor and technician or assistant will communicate with you over the phone and provide you with recommendations. Drop-off patients help prevent excessive wait times for you and your pet and allow us to accommodate more pets into our daily schedule for treatment. If your pet is in need of care, please call us.
