Dr. Forrest Axson was raised in Seneca, SC and completed his undergraduate studies at Clemson University in 2003. After earning his Bachelor's in Animal & Veterinary Science, he went on to Virginia Tech where he earned his Master's Degree in Animal & Poultry Science with his focus on Beef Cattle Reproduction in 2008. In 2011, he graduated from Virginia Tech with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
Upon graduating, Dr. Axson moved to Texas and practiced at a mixed animal veterinary hospital where he practiced both small animal and large farm animal medicine. Dr. Axson quickly became the leading veterinarian for the area's farm animals and ranch herds; consisting of Beef Cattle, Swines and Equines. After Forrest Axson, DVM made his homecoming in 2012, he joined the Seneca Animal Hospital family and quickly earned his spot as the veterinarian of choice for Farm and Large Animals in Oconee County, SC. He continues to practice small animal veterinary medicine in between his farm calls.
